I am waiting to hear back from CyArk, http://www.cyark.org, about the possibility of contributions to their online archive. I inquired as to whether or not their archive could serve as a shared repository for 3D scholarly content (and/or info about other possible open repositories for 3D content).

I did find on their website that they are currently seeking ‘data donation’ participants through September 1, 2015: http://www.cyark.org/news/win-a-free-booth-and-an-invitation-to-the-cyark-500-annual-summit. They state “All those participating will retain ownership of the data and receive a partner page on the CyArk website. Your data will be professionally archived for research and posterity on our 2 petabyte archive hosted by Iron Mountain.”
